Three ways to style Sporty Hair

Over-indulged this Easter? Still finishing off those left over chocolate eggs and in need of some inspiration to kick start your fitness regime?  Working out may not always be fun but that’s not to say your hair can’t look great!

At our London blow dry bar we’ve chosen three hairstyles perfect for exercise, and with the London Marathon this Sunday what better time to give them a try! However, if it’s been a while since you hit the gym, we hope this will inspire you to dust off your trainers and restart your membership.

1. The Boxer Braid.  Ideal for mid to long hair, this versatile style is on trend as well as practical, keeping hair off your face during workouts.  Ideal to wear with a hat on chilly mornings or a cap for warmer days! Plus if you look after your braids, who’s to say they won’t last several days.

2. The High Pony or Hair BunThis style is a fail safe option for longer hair, keep it simple with a clear elastic band or for a more fun look accessorise with a scrunchy or ribbon.  Besides, who doesn’t want to look like a cheerleader from Bring It On?!




3. The Headband.  For shorter hair, this is a great option to keep hair tucked back and off your face.  Mix it up with a bandanna or a bright colour or bold pattern to inspire a fun workout!
